Welcome to the Tigers Jacob Hopper

Actually true romance
Written by Tarantino
Hopper was an actor in it

The only Tarantino -hopper link
Ah yes, the unbelievable “egg plant” scene. Undoubtedly the best acting of his career.

he was pretty happy and had moved on from the loss ..

even Goodwin looked like, 'wow, what's going on' ..
Thought the same thing. He could understand the disappointment but not the upbeat tone to the future until he fessed up to Hopper. Reckon he was thinking to himself that if they do win 2022 it’s going to be tough next year.

Who's the old bloke with the glasses that looks like Dusty Obrein?
Who's the bloke in my photo?
These blokes need to be put into the hall of fame if they pull the Tarranto & Hopper trade.
They have finally worked out that the Draft useless unless your fixed onto a kid there's no use going into it. No more Higgins or Lennons.
Hit the Rookie or Preseason Draft, the kids are hungrier to succeed. They will fight for an opportunity.
So many *smile* ups in the last 15yrs of 1st rounders. This was always going to happen.
Geelong take pick 19 off us and find a Gazelle.
We have a core group that can push for another flag. The club has now had taste of it and want more. Plus the added bonus is that we a huge club and we look after our players we don't back door them.
What would be in the back of the mind of anyone signing a deal with Collingwood longer the 5yrs? Fingers crossed
We a well oiled organisation.
Open the door they will come.
Now just give Kingsley what he wants pick 12 & 19 & Soldo & Collier Dawkins.
Francis Jackson ?

What's the going rate going to be if Hopper joins us as well.

You'd think 13, 20, 30 and next years first would be needed.

Unless we trade Soldo or Short or someone of genuine value.

More than happy to give away pick 13, 30 and next years first rounder. But i would like to keep pick 20 for a KP forward. Happy to chuck in a Soldo, RCD or Castagna type to get it done.

4 picks including 2 firsts for 2 players?
Hefty price.
Gws wants both players gone

If we get both Quentin and Dennis do we still have a chance of snaring Cool Hand Luke??

The firsts are both outside top 10 (we assume). Big diff to a top 5 pick.

If you take each players worth separately:

- Taranto is pick 12 plus somewhere between 20 and 30 (prob more)

- Say next years first round pick is valued at 15. Hopper is also worth that plus at least somewhere between 20 and 30. Even that is pretty light. He is also under contract which adds a little more.

Can't see how we don't give up at least what Leysy suggested.

Adding players that have been around a little bit but are outside best 22 doesn't add any value. ie George and RCD.

You could argue Soldo might add some, but won't be a lot.

spot on. First round picks tend to be grouped as one value in trade thinking, perfectly understandable. It is far from the case. Top 5 picks are the rolled-gold bankers. 5-10 still very valuable but significantly less so, beyond the top 10 drops away again significantly.

at least you would think. Also depends which youngsters Kingsley rates. He could be a Biggie, Ryan or Ralphsmith fan so could request one or 2 of them in the trade to give GWS some cap relief.

He can have Ralphsmith but surely Ryan's off limits, and hopefully Biggie too.
