Welcome to the Tigers Marlion Pickett!

Has a high refresh rate. Notice how after he marked the ball outside 50m, within 0.5 seconds he had already considered 2 handball options at 10 & 2 o'clock. Then he decides to take his kick. Quick mind.

Pandemic-related distractions unsettled many of us for a while there, but things are getting back to normal now. Marlion has always stepped up when his team needs him at all levels from WAFL, to VFL, to AFL. Now we need him more than ever, and he's stepped up. Hopefully gets well paid with his incentives this year.

Has been our best player in first two rounds. Brilliant today.

Hugo owes his goal to Marlion.
Spot on - It was a real selfless tough bit of work by Marion that hopefully at least counts as an “assist”
TBH - I didn't notice it at the time and it was only after watching players congratulating Marlion after the goal - and then watching the replay on the big screen - that I saw his contribution.
Great effort

Has taken his game to a whole new level this year. Clean hands, correct decisions and disposal. Freaky running ability. KMac and him on each wing is massive

Happy to bet the Himmelburger is not a fan of the Fish. Sitting in the hole a few metres out from goal n about to swallow the easiest uncontested mark he's ever had. Nek minnit Fish bait. Players gotta learn to start listening for footsteps when Marlion's about, he don't take no short ones n is happy to plough you under if you get in his way.

Closing speed is crazy. And seems to have gadget arms. Loved watching him running up and down the wing from the southern.

The Soft Shoe Assassin. They never hear him coming until he separates their ribs. A blade swung on the end of a sledgehammer. The ol' sledgedagger, it's a killer.

His work rate is exceptional. Actually runs harder on the chase than when he has the ball. RCD…….pay attention if you want to make the grade.

Pickett has that aggressive quality, which intimidates the opposition.
Sometimes they second guess and divert.
He can school Matt P in it, he has that wiry quality.
Yeah, even though they cam't hear his footsteps they sure do hear his footsteps.

Dunno that you'd hear him coming. Perhaps a bit of wind noise as he gets closer but that'd be about it.

Should call him Whispering Death. Light on his feet and thin of frame, deceptively fast and with a body made of ironwood, designed to hurt.

Tremendous mid-air bump by Marlion, GSW player coughed up the ball, resulting in a goal.
There'd be one GWS player coughing up more than the ball. I can't remember who it was, but Marlion nailed him with tackle that was both brutal and a work of art.
