I agree. Maybe he was too keen to play and not miss another game. Those tight calf issues can often take longer than one week to get right. Reckon he'll be a bit sore in that same leg after today's game.

He's been pretty damn good for the first year player.

Thought baker was good down back as well, so unless Short gets moved on I don't see a spot down back anymore.

Unless injured, i can't see him veing dropped all year

Came back too early? Apart from his first couple of games up forward he hasn't been that good up front IMO. More value down back at this stage of his career.

He also just looks tired and lethargic.

No nothing like that, not saying his team mates don't like him no doubt they love him like we do but we have all had mates that might have needed to be taken down a peg or two. Same would apply to many cocky teenagers who come into a team environment.
