Agree with all the above but he also did plenty of brave hard stuff. Any player who has got better EVERY year he has been in the league?

Thought he made some bad disposal decisions early u der pressure but then switched on and turned the skill knob into overdrive. Unbelievably good game. He wasn't a midfield lock early in the season but right now he's the first player chosen there. Has been unbelievably consistent this year.

You'd like to think he is now entering those conversations when people talk about great indigenous players. Comparisons are always biased but if you said who is the best indigenous player of the last 10 years - I reckon only Franklin and perhaps Burgoyne would be in front of him. Maybe Cyril?

Can't think of a more under-rated indigenous player.
