I was wondering how Jono Brown and Healey would spin a 47point loss to their favourite team...

As their co host Paul Roos would say ..... Here it is!

Bloody lot closer than I thought. ... we just got in by 3 points. .... ffs will we ever get any credit?

Got to laugh.

It's funny isn't it, all last week the media nuffies were saying "the Lions will learn from this, they're playing at home & will be a 5 goal better team " etc etc. I was thinking to myself, not one of these drongos has cottoned on to the fact that the Tigers would have learned plenty about them as well.

So they're a 5 goal better team at home but they got beaten by more than they did at the MCG.

We were the better team both games, END OF STORY

I don't this constant argument that Lions are wining key stats thus it bodes well for future matches. Surely the argument is that if Richmond improve on some of those stats we will win by even more.

Ef me. That could be the dumbest stat in the history of stats.

Other than recently when we've been up against the Lions, Jonno has been pro Tigers. And Roosy, while quick to pile *smile* on has also been one of the first to realise what we had become.

Dermie has a soft spot for as and Carey also

Duh. The best teams make the most of their chances. The crap ones **** them up.

Composure and execution under pressure ,

they had a good run of momentum in the first quarter , couldnt execute ,

We had a good run of momentum in the third and blew them off the park ,

there is the game

Just listening now. Michael Gleeson pretty salty, Bartel pointing out how easy our shots were and how hard Brisbane's were.

I heard Bartel the other day speak about our game. Basically saying to the people who think we were lucky to be accurate and Brisbane unlucky are wrong. Richmond made their shots easy by good entry and Brisbane were forced wide by our set up.

I don't think it's a case of soft-spot or not. I think Carey actually knows what he's talking about and says what he thinks. He was all-in for Richmond in 2017 before anyone else. Dermie, I think he just appreciates good footy. Ditto Roos, even though I think he personally doesn't like Richmond.
Likewise, I find it slightly amusing when people here take journo's opinions personally. They're entitled to their opinion, even if it doesn't align with the completely objective view of posters here :) ;)
It doesn't matter either way what anyone thinks at the end of the day.

Watching the shows last night On the couch when they covered our game, they were impressed with our game/club Brownie even admitting yeah Richmond could go all the way when Roos was saying the same.

Fingers crossed we can nail the premiership this year. We get down to 1 in 4 chances. Go Tiges

Anyone concerned about the number of marks taken in the 50 by the lions. They had 5-6 very gettable shots that any other team on the day could have slotted. Give those shots to the Weagles and we are in trouble

Yep. Spot on and there was no doubt their inaccuracy blew them out of the game.
Similar to the Eagles game but we fought back & they fought back to level near the end. It wont be easy by no means

There are no guarantees EG 2018.

i heard on SEN yesterday that we scored 14.1 from inside 30m and they scored 4.2. That says a lot about the game right there.
