AFL360

It was a poor outing by both coaches on 360 last night...I can't believe that norf appointed Shaw. He seemingly finds it difficult to put a coherent sentence together. I loved the comment about his brother : " Yeah he defends well..." what a pearl of wisdom that is.

I'd like to see who they would have appointed if they had not undertaken the "exhaustive" process to get Shaw...

Yeah, Shaw was mightily unimpressive. Could barely put two words together - it was actually quite cringeworthy watching and I reckon Whately almost gave up asking him anything.

He actually said Kelly was worth 4 first rounders and Dusty, if thats not a backhander I don't know what is! The bloke must walk into the bathroom and look in the mirror and say "Hey Brad what do you think of this line...." Then Brad says "öh yeah Chris thats a beauty run with that, huh huh huh" but deliver it deadpan so they don't know where you're coming from!

I don't think so. I think everything he says bypasses his brain and just comes out in raw unaudited form.

I saw R Shaw on the Front bar a few weeks ago and it didn’t seem intelligence was his forte.

He must be a very good coach though.....

Peed myself laughing when Salty said we have reviewed the decision to play Bigarse on the wing, and it was the correct decision :rotfl1

Whatever happens Saturday I feel Richmond hasn't been given the proper respect by the media given their performance since the bye.

11 straight wins and the focus was always on our MCG advantage.
Rd. 22 I thought the best game of the year against the best team WC and after conceding a 6 goal start had a fantastic win.
Next round top of table Brisbane also came from behind then went away to their fortress and won by 8 goals.
Preliminary again a big start to Geelong and within 10 mins. 3rd quarter squashed them and cruised to a win
In all those games media focus was that opposition kicked poorly and should have been further in front. No mention of any easy misses we had.
At any rate if a goal is kicked rather than a point it is a new set up and nobody knows what the next score will be.

I respect GWS but think we deserve this one and hopefully will then gain praise we deserve.

I think deep down we would all like the media's praise, but also I'm personally so proud to support this club, because it is a high performance organisation that has incredibly positive core values. I couldn't say that for 35+ years so I now take whatever the media says with a grain of salt - we know how good we are.

They’ve been doing this for a long time, and it’s amazing how coincidental that our opponent always seem to play badly against us.

Well, he has won awards. And he’s been offered multimillion dollar contracts. And he’s retained the top media job in Victoria for how many years? So yeah, it’s an act, duh.

I heard her on radio Sunday morning begging Whateley for tickets, and she even offered to tattoo Robbo’s name on her butt.

I’m guessing they ran with that on 360?

Think i heard her on SEN yesterday doing the same thing ?

Spot on, but it does irritate me that we don't get recognised for this.

We lack a loud, big mouth, high visibility media personality to keep banging our drum. KB is off the air, Caro doesn't get loud.

But it won't matter when Chimp lifts #12 on Saturday
