6 years also.

Maybe Kelly’s manager said, p155 only interested in premierships and Perth not Fremantle!
6 year deal, plus the shekels will be plentiful, hope the rest of Wet Cokes players are all on board with taking the back seat.

Pretty sure Dangerfiggy had similar requirements as to where he won his premierships, working beautifully at the moment.

Arent they paying attention, the 3 small forwards thing is passe now we changed the game again but it seems like the opposition haven't noticed and still thiink they need to load up on smalls.

Doesnt hurt the Tigers cos weve got 2 193cm defenders who play just as well on smalls as they do on talls. (Grimes and Broady).

This is Geelongs gifted chance to put some major steps into rebuilding post (Selwood, Clangerfield, Ablett, Taylor, Hawkins) at the next 2 drafts.

Also gives them picks to play with to go after a quality player from another club.
This is just the thing I hate most. Wet Coke, in their utter stupidity in paying so far overs for Kelly - so many eggs in his basket to desperately contend for the flag again in 2020 - that they have gifted a major rival for the same aim, a whole package of freebies to rejuvenate their tired and ageing list in the near future. Geelong barked and they dropped their bundle.

Dumb and dumber.

Was it Sicily that showed him up and showed how easy he is to defend against. Lachie Keefe towelled him up also.

We have given away a 2 time premiership player for pick 38.
And then you hear Dougal Howard is worth a 1st rounder and James Aish will get Collingwood a pick under 20.
This is flked

Zip’s trade ratings...

Dougal Howard,. Port want a first rounder. Only a stupid Flked up club would do it. Only stkilda.
Hill. Good player, but not at 800k.600k yes. First rounder quality
Daniher. Worth one first rounder, not 2. Too injury prone. I wouldn’t risk it
Papley. Not sure he as good as they are making him to be. A pick between 15-20
Keath. The type we would’ve chased 10 years ago, 5 good games and he thinks he is a star.
Josh Bruce. Are we serious? What a average footballer. Pick 40 at best.
Jones. Pick 25-30. Kicks like his legs are fused together.

*collingwood are having a fire sale of their duds, shitaberg, Aish, Wills, Thomas.
All of them for pick 75, but knowing these pricks they will end up with pick 20 for Aish, 25 for Shiitaberg, 40 for Wills and pick 35 for Thomas.

Why would any club trade for Butler, Moore etc if they can get them for nothing as a delisted free agent?

Not 100% certain & happy to be corrected , but if we offered Butler a contract , even a really low one or if a trade didn't get done but we didn't delist him , i think he would have to enter the draft, if no takers could then be picked then as a delisted free agent.

Collingwood's list management is as bad as their strength & conditioning, it's great that it will stop them from being able to challenge us. The only club we have to worry about is West Coast and they have issues with Rioli gone, Kennedy cooked and (em) Barrass not up to it. Clear blue skies as far as we can see!

We will offer Butler a contract if he can't get a trade. Can't see us delisting him. Reckon we will give Moore at least 1 more year too, his year this year was ruined through injury but IMO there is something there.

Add to that Adelaide want a 1st for Greenwood and Brisbane want a 2nd for Taylor. Its crazy town, whats the complete opposite to a fire sale?

The AFL may well do their best to stack the cards against us at any opportunity but we have a good recruitment team and the best club infrastructure in the land so we will continue to be the team others envy and be one step ahead of the rest

Down to the last day of this boring trading period.
Biggest traded completed to date Dougal Howard goes to Stkilda. A week ago 97% of the population didn’t know who this bloke was.
The AFL needs to reduce the trade period to 5 days. Monday to Friday.
Clubs know who they’re after 6 months before hand. It’s becoming a joke.

They should have a trade day parade down the streets of Melbourne so clubs and the AFL can show off the new recruits

They won't do that, the whole point of the week and a half is to ensure that AFL dominates the back pages of the papers over the opening weekend of the A league season.

So what do we get for Butler? One or 2 of the Saints 4th rounders in 2020? They have their own and they have Ports. I guess both will be similar picks, I anticipate both will be around 10th-12th next year so around picks 66-68. I'd be ok with receiving both. Even if we give ours back. Ie. 2 picks say 66 and 67 and give pick 77 back. The trade value of the 2 picks would be about 150 points, Pick 60.

They have nothing else, unless they trade down their 1st next year to our 1st next year which I doubt would happen for someone like Butler.
