I said it was unpatriotic and sh!t, but it wasn't criminal. It breeds anarchy of the sort we're seeing now.
Peaceful protests have an impact when large numbers turn out, it's why protest organisers customarily exaggerate the figures.
Violent protests just turn people off to the message. The violence becomes the headline.
Utter utter bollocks.
Peaceful protests have got Black Americans
NOWHERE in the last 60 or 70 years. Massive very massive peaceful protests have got them nowhere.
Law enforcement in the USA still treats them like s*** and still kills them at a disproportionate rate to their numbers in the population. They are routinely denied voting rights, there are less places to vote in black districts and states (who control voting in the USA) work very hard to make sure blacks are prevented from voting.
What would you do if it was your brother, or father or friends getting killed or beaten up by the cops? Black parents in the USA have to give their kids, mainly sons, the talk about how to deal with cops. A black professor was on the news today talking about getting hauled up driving to work. This does not happen to White Americans.
So, when they try peaceful protests not only are they ignored, you get the crap like the above - oh taking the knee is offensive, it breeds anarchy. What rubbish, ignoring the peaceful protests like taking the knee is what causes riots and looting. If White America wants someone to blame they should buy a mirror.
In the real world those who have the power, exercise the power to their advantage. There comes a time to resist. Looting is counter-productive and generally just opportunism. But violence against property pales into insignificance next to violence against people. I am far far more offended by the treatment of Black Americans than I am of the looting. It is a moral choice, I value people over property.
