Sydney Stack

Spook i think you will find that they have already tried the first remedy in allowing Syd to play when he most obviously hadn't put in the work , (i don't think this would have sat well with other players). I personally think they played Syd and continued to play him for exactly the reason of hoping it would get him back on track.
You are right that now is the time for some tough love, which includes not playing him. Let's see how Syd responds.
RFC is all for individuality but not at the expense of certain non negotiables.
Has absolute talent no doubt.
Yeah, mate. I didn't mean play him, he needs to feel the bite of missing out. I meant no VFL won't help him. But hopefully he's working to chunder level on the track now.

A bit of tough love in the hub will be good for Syd. Not being able to play won't be, but seeing a scrapper like Aarts in his spot should tell him all he needs to know.
Being a scrapper is why Aarts is in the team and players like Butler and Lloyd aren't. Our game relies on scrappers and if Stack can't scrap he won't play.

All true, Harry. Being a bluebood does not excuse one from blue-collar duties. See Prince Rioli.

Will be interesting to see what impact he has rolling through the midfield.

Tommorows midfield
Should be Soldo Bolton Pickett and Stack. With Cotchin coming in at curtain times.
Bolton clears the ball while Pickett rearrange's rib cages, Stack just 'sits them down" and Cotchin just puts them to sleep.

Let's make tomorrow night a
Demolition Derby.
Lets smash' em.

Dimma: " When we 'isoed', he probably didn't come back in the form or shape we'd like "

At least we now know why he wasn't getting picked. Great to hear he's fit again, and ready to go.

The disappointing thing is why was Stacky selected to play in the first 3 games after the Covid-19 break if he wasn't fit.

Strange messages from Dimma.
Says he didn't present in great shape post iso.
(I read that as between Rd 1 and Rd 2.)
So why play him Rd 2, 3 and 4?
Pauline Hanson?

If Stack can't scrap he won't play.

Jack Viney reckons he can scrap.

Loved dimmas presser gag.

'Dimma what did you say to syd at training?'

' i was getting some advice on my tik tok '

stack don't have the tank for midfield

Who said he has to move?
Between Pickett and Stack, there could be more ambulances needed at Metricon then at StVincents.
If don't hit there midfield hard, we will have no chance.
We might not match them in skill, but we have enough BoneCrushers to make it harder for them.

IMO it speaks to how highly he is rated at the club. The coaches figured an underdone Stack was better than the next best option. They were wrong but it shows their thinking.
