But apparently we’re kissed on the male appendage according to the footy worldAnd the hit just keep on farkin coming..
So basically, we’re *smile*? Is that about right TBR?Not good news I'm afraid.
It's much rarer to damage the medial ligament in the ankle, because it's a fairly beefy sort of a ligament and can generally take a pretty fair force.
It wouldn't generally need surgery but you'd start with 6-8 weeks of rehab and work up from there.
Here's the real kicker though, with this type of injury it is quite common to have medial instability after you have rehabbed the original injury, which then requires a surgery to tighten up the ligament with a tendon transfer and another 2 months of recovery.
It will be a really nervous wait to see how his ankle is after the initial rehab work.
Normally around 8 weeksWhat’s the definition of medium term, anyone know?
Says 6-8 weeks on RFC supporter site. So could be anything really, depending on how successful the rehab is.What’s the definition of medium term, anyone know?

So he may be back for the st Kilda game June 26, round 15. That’s 6 weeks away. 5 games and a bye.Yeah, best case scenario he is back training in 4 or 5 weeks, playing in 6. He's a wiry sort of build with a lot of training years under his belt so he will be ready to go pretty quickly. May not even need VFL games.
Medium case will be the rehab will be a little slower, back going in 6-7 weeks, playing in 8.
Worst case will be he rehabs and the joint is sloppy so he needs surgery which will end his year.
