Like what is closing?
I’d only be guessing but “closing” might coming from in from an angle or front on. ie To close down their run.
As opposed to corralling ie being in front/side of but semi stationary, arms up
Chasing - self explanatory.
Physical pressure - bump/tackle/smother
But that’s just my take on it. Other posters might have other opinions.
