Changes v Dawks - Operation Next Generation

IN: Miller, Astbury, Castagna, Pickett, McIntosh, Collier-Dawkins, Martyn, Ross and Chol.

OUT: Prestia (calf), Cotchin (knee), Edwards (ankle), Lambert (Achilles), Nankervis (finger) and Mansell (hamstring), Garthwaite (omitted), Aarts (omitted) and Ralphsmith (omitted).

Naish not getting a game with 9 changes and Garth dropped for the Phantom ..... statements made there?

Aarts missing also not great for him.

Good to see Miller play and another game for RCD and Martyn.

Like a practice match in a way. Younger players in midfield and established midfielders rested for the last game. Omissions were right from last week.

A player could either save their list spot or lose it on Saturday.

Cue for the AFL to issue fines investigate

OMG - 9 changes - that’s half the team that run onto the ground. Can’t remember a time where we changed the team by so many players.

Reckon this year we have seen the most changes week to week of any team - might be a record for the club - calling LTRTR

Also the first Thursday in a long time I have actually forgotten that the teams were being announced - my care factor really, like the team, has fallen of the cliff.

Going to be like the Sydney game of 2016 - it’s going to make the players burn over summer.

Defence and forward line look Ok. Kids will get their chance in the midfield. Got a feeling they might give Stacky a run in there.

Reckon a couple might have already had a redline though them to bo honest.

Cumberland stiff to miss out wouldve been good for him to get a run, maybe they want to make sure he's physically ready for pre season, with the knee and not playing for a few weeks.

Strange selections.

Not really cue in the rack, but not really play all the kids.

Why would you drop Hugo and MRJ in a game that means nothing?

Selection been bewildering most of the year. Why stop now I guess.

Really feel for Dave and Bach going out like this.

What a crap year of footy

Our named ruck and starting midfield have a combined total of 24 games between them. If they start as named is that our most inexperienced midfield since around 1909?
