Changes V Carlton

A Carlton source, so little credibility has advised Jack Martin a no-show at training and won't play.

Have read Saad and DeKoning trained away from the main group today. Is there an option to forfeit?
i would have thought Saad never goes near anyone at training, cos you know what they say, "train the way you play".

That would make Marchbank, Cerra and Martin out from their win against Essendon.

Add to that no Ed Curnow, McGovern, Pittonet, Weitering and Zac Williams..... if we lose tomorrow night not only do we make making the 8 that much harder but have to now not only say how much Carlton have improved but also how much depth they have!!! :cautious:

Looks like Fox Footy has a pro-Blooze promo for tomorrow night's game and Ch 7 has a pro-Tigers promo.

If we can't beat this Bluebagger rabble tomorrow I'll eat my hat

It's just on if we can out last them.
They will always think they can out last us.
But they have given up massive leads, to hawthorn and port.
There best game has been at Telstra dome..
Not convinced they're tough enough to beat us in the middle of winter on the G.
We lose start planning for the future

Nice to see how far people think the Blues have come if they're fretting about losing with half the team out.

Come on man
Let's not say Your missing McDonald Marchbank and McGovern.
They are always injured.
Your missing Weithering, Cerra & Williams.

Don't forget Pittonet and potentially Saad, DeKoning and Martin who apparently didn't train. Though it could be argued Weitering IS half the side!

I always thought Carlton had a decent list.
It just proves how bad doofus coaches like Teague, Smiley, Shaw and Noble are.
You don't need 3 yrs to work out a coach can't coach.
6 months.
I bet north would be much better even winning games with a real coach.

I do have to say that Carlton have taken longer than they should have to improve, but improve they have. You lot might be back in contention in a couple of years.

As a kid I never hated Carlton that much, how could you hate Jezza? He was an amazing player. I suppose it was the John Elliott era which really put me off.

Carlton are rising, we are right to worry given Richmond's patchy performances this year, but the reality is that we just need to get it done tomorrow night, a must win game. At the moment I really can't see us beating Geelong so this one needs to be a win.

With Soldo out we look more flexible as a team.
And we should be able to rotate more heavily throughout the team.
