Welcome Noah Cumberland

As predicted, still in the goals even though very low possession. Next string to bow is finding space for marks more often. Will have the occasional day out ala Bears. Dangerous.

That goal at the Punt Rd end on a tight angle as a left footer was amazing. What a great kick.

Is averaging 2.5 goals a game. Going to be a very valuable player and have a good career if he can go close to maintaining that average.

He had a sharp hand in a few goals too.

But the game was over early. No opportunity for him to be crucial to the final play.

A fraction less awesome than usual. Made, what, three mistakes? (Unprecedented.) Only five goal shots in his seventh game working mainly areas that only Gary Ablett sr ever has. Nine SI. But Dimma did send him up the park for a gallop. Is the boss getting soft?

A routine game notwithstanding the (record) three failures to destroy the opposition.

This has been a big surprise. Has sharp and a sharp mind that is creating goals. Handballs are like a bullet.

Hate to mention it, but a big contrast to George who is an expert at fluffing goals

What I see is a natural forward who is willing to work within the forward team. He had a down day yesterday stats- wise compared to other games but the smart play was to allow Lynch to be isolated as much as possible. Last week he did the same thing and took his Port Adelaide opponent out of the game. No coincidence Lynch's domination has coincided with Cumberland's rise.

With Cumbo proving so dangerous and Jack still requiring a first or second defender, Lynch won't be double teamed.
That game we saw at the G years ago when Rance could not handle Lynch on his own is almost prophetic.

Has great awareness and sense of urgency. Very good second and third efforts.

And he puts speed on the ball with his field kicks and handballs - really punches them out, which reduces the chance of them being intercepted.
