It's looking like being fairly light on for talents according to the pundits.

Still reckon it's midfield time for us. With a focus on pace.

O'Kearney is the one I want and he's a pacey midfielder. He's being mentored by Cotchin this year as well so has a connection tot he club already. Not that it means much. Likened to Boomer Harvey and had 22 touches against the Werribee VFL side

I reckon our first pick is on the table this year, and is gone if GWS accepts it and whatever else it takes to get Shiel (or, even better, Treloar).

This may be the year to do it. Push the chips into the middle of the table.

First pick plus Vickery for Treloar would be a dream. Personally think he will be one of the best mids in the game in a couple of years.

am planning to watch a fair bit of the colts over here in the west thhis season. Have the inside run on one of their sides through a coach who believes they will have 3 possibly 4 go in the draft should be fun to watch

By some of the reports, he will be a top ten pick. Did you get to see the game?
Good country kid runs all day, quick and good kick. Also has 3 brothers coming through the next one Cassidy is in the 16 Falcons. Which probably counts them out of our calculations as we don't rate the Falcons.
Apparently was best of the AIS boys on the weekend and killed it rd 1 TAC picking up 34 possies while being tagged by 3 - 4 opponents. We are zero chance of him being a Tiger unless we trade up in the draft.

Definitely the year to get rid of our picks and send them off to GWS. Top 15 is pretty even, and you can forget the rest.

First name of the year I'm keen on, Jackson Volpato

Gone from a nippy goal sneak to a ball winning line breaking mid who tackles in bunches.

Has been best on in five of six games but at 167cm and 73kg, there will be some nerves.

Lewis Taylor's debut year will help his cause

Surely not a first rounder at that height.

If he gets ten best on's & stars at the championships why not?

Indeed. Every side needs a midget brigade that has class & pace. We have none.

Caleb Daniel was just about the best performed player at the champs last year and was still only picked in the 40s IIRC, with many tipping him to go undrafted. Height will certainly work against him.

Saying that, I know nothing of Volpato.
