They need a system that they can beat the lower ranked sides (at home anyway).

Next yr it's 15yrs with no Finals wins, that tells me they need a system that can deliver when the heat is on. Keeping in mind that, like Port, they loaded up at trade time & still missed the 8, Port are rightly copping it but Essendon are getting off lightly IMO.

According to the press release, he'll be reporting for duty what we start our pre season training.

He'd technically still be contracted to St Kilda until 30/9 or 31/10.
I'm sure the club will be verbally giving him "homework" to prepare unofficially.

When I moved company, I did that and my old company didn't care provided; I did the work on my own time and I didn't steal IP.
I'd imagine AFL is the same, particularly since he doesn't appear to have been sacked.
