What action exactly?
The point is that, yes, we do need action on a lot of issues which impact Indigenous Australians. For the last couple of hundred years who has decided what actions are taken?
Sure as hell hasn't been the Indigenous Australians deciding on what actions are taken.
With white fellas making all the decisions we haven't exactly solved the problems have we?
The Voice gives Indigenous Australians some power, admittedly not much, to direct actions, to set the agenda on Indigenous Affairs.
FFS what you suggest is that we treat Indigenous Australians more harshly than anyone else. Have you ever been drunk, would you like the cops bashing your door down when you are drunk? I'm sure Indigenous Australians would welcome the laws of the land applying the same way for everyone, it would certainly help their situation.
