Jacob Townsend

That tackle sapped all remaining confidence from the Crows. They need a looping video clip of it in the RFC Museum.

Thanks Jacob for everything
What a ride
You are a tiger superstar
Good luck in the future
Will be seeing you again soon

It’s a bloody sad day for us the tigers supporters

Broken man here

I remember all your posts back in 17 pumping him up prior to his inclusion and I'm thinkin to me self....... ****'n nutcase!
Please accept my extremely late heartfelt apology!

my thinking knightersRevenge is Jacob primed for the back end of the year, then into the finals

doing everything that is asked of him ...........improved on last year ( just look at his stats )

only effective inside mid at the moment is Nank and cot .they will not last the year and be stuffed by the finals

he is sitting there .............just waiting ( an animal in a cage)

your enthusiastic encouragement of Towner through his career was admirable NSW.

I'm sure none will object to bestowing you Life Membership on the Jacob Townsend thread here on PRE

Towner is a member of an extremely exclusive modern tiger folklore club;

Him, Jack Graham and Marlion Pickett.

No-one can every take that away.

Sheedy said Towner was the toughest kid he ever coached.

The Club should think about putting him on the Payroll.

He could conduct sessions in “Tackling to hurt” & “Effortless Set Shot kicking for Goal”.

Good luck Towner, you won’t be forgotten.

Endorse your thoughts. One of the best 'impact' players ever? In several ways.

Towner will never be forgotten and always welcome at PRO. Best of luck with whatever the future holds, Jacob. (Just hope it's not against us!)

Bon Voyage Townser, and thank you for those amazing efforts and memories from 2017.

A reason we made the GF and won it with his toughness and his conversion of goals at key junctures in games.

And a key reason the VFL side finally crackled the Premiership this year.

Much loved by all Tiger fans for his toughness and effort for the team.

Thanks Jacob cheers and best for the future.

Sign him up for the VFL side, although I'm sure as a Premiership Tiger he will attract big coin in the SANFL and WAFL.

sad sad day.
One of my all time favourite's.
He joins the likes of leon Cameron, justin Charles & Chris Bond for players that have joined from other clubs and wore our jumper with pride.

Townsend will always welcome back.

Looking at some towner clips, I think his tackle/hit on Nathan Jones was more brutal than what he did to Crouch
