Bloody great question Butch. How do they pick out 2 players, 1 from each team to fine? Yet not fine the instigator cripps? Bemusing
N. VlaustinMaybe we should start a competition on here. Posters can nominate which Tiger will get fined for each round. Maybe make it a bit juicier and also nominate how much they will get fined..
Maybe people on here who might have contacts in the AFL hierarchy can organise for the winners to be able to sit in on the adjudication process?
Funny thing about it, Lynch went in to break it up. Ends up being mauled by Carlton players and then cops a fine by the AFL.How do they pick out 2 players, 1 from each team to fine? Yet not fine the instigator cripps? Bemusing

Rather surprised that Carlton enforcer Jack hit man Silvagni, wasn’t arrested for his hit, jumper punch and language to wards Noah Balta on the wing boundary fence in the 2nd.Congratulations to Tom Lynch MRP has drawn number 19 this week and given big Tom a $1000 fine for wrestling
Yeh it’s crazy. The only guy that should be fined is the instigator and the first guy to engage and continue it. Come down heavy on the instigator and you will stamp it out. Cripps is definitely treated differently to other players. I’ve never really noticed how many throws he gets away with but if Thursday night is an example he’s a bulldog class chucker .Cripps aggressive shove on Prestia out of the field of play instigated the entire melee.
Agree, and he receives a Judd like amount of time to get rid of the footy on a lot of occasions.I’ve never really noticed how many throws he gets away with but if Thursday night is an example he’s a bulldog class chucker .
