Caesar (or anyone),

How close is Aarts?
My bad but I haven't seen enough Vfl games to get a gauge on him.
So does he play in a similar fashion to another Tiger? Strengths?
Can he hold up to senior footy?
Can he hold up to senior Finals footy?
Much obliged.

Aarts is a good smart footballer and has been playing bloody good footy, had a blinder in the curtain raiser on the 'G' against Carlton a few weeks back and has been recognized by being named as an emergency the last couple of weeks, very strong mark for his size of 177cm and great kick for goal.
Personally I don't think he is close to a gig this year and the time to try is certainly not round 23 and finals.
As to whether he could make it at the next level going forward I have my doubts, but it's a debate I have with fellow VFL watchers who are a big wrap for him.
PS. We never would have had Lambo unless given a chance so you never know.

Delighted to see Noah Balta selected along with Cotchin. Good luck Noah (and Cotch)

Can't argue with the changes, Balta only has 1 week to prove his finals case so hope he makes the most of it.
Cholly, you just can't afford to have 3 quiet weeks in a row even if winning, never good to get dropped round 23.

I still reckon Dylan will be a late out so it'll be interesting to see who's his replacement if it happens! KMac possibly. ...... that'll blow the game day thread up for some!

I still don't understand what Chol offers. He's good below his knees for a big man. But not as good as a small.

He doesn't take contested marks. He gets dominated as a ruck.

He has neat skills, and some agility and speed, but those traits are only useful in big men if they're also able to play as big men.

Balta has all those traits, plus takes marks, plus gets clearances, plus gets the ball, plus competes in the ruck. He's also a better kick.

Chol has upside. But not value in the best 22.

Out: Chol, Ross
In: Balta, Cotchin.

I love Ross, and reckon he'll be a star. But we looked a little one paced when both he and Graham are in the centre. I couldn't find anyone else to drop.

Sensible changes.
