Geelong are a good side. They have a good mix of players.
I really like Menogla. (Because Todd Menogla was my neighbour)
And maybe port.

If you actually watched the game, the Aints were walloped, everywhere. Their FL was blanketed; very few opportunities for anyone like Butler. Geesook's tall, heavy team but with plenty of big, quick running mids, is highly suited by smaller grounds and shorter quarters. Giving new life to a team with 7 x 30+ aged players this game.
Not much any SF could do. Geesook made the Aints look very ordinary again. Unlike us.

I'd give brisbane a chance as a lot of finals will be in QLD.

The thing with West Coast is they may not even get finals in Perth. Possibly week 1 they can have purely because of the bye, but with the 2 week quarantine regulations, then there is no chance any other finals can be played in Perth. You'd have to add more byes in order to accomodate the 2 weeks.

Thats why a GF in the West is highly unlikely.

Don't mind Freo - some good youngsters and not as objectionable as West Coast

And Conca of course, bigger loss than Ellis or Buttler

Freo have been impressive this year, particularly with a new coach who would have had limited time with his players and a lot of youngsters.

They are impressively well structured and have a gameplan. More than you can say for their opposition and a few other sides towards the bottom of the ladder.
