R1 St Kilda (H) 6this anyone here smart enough to look at Geelongs draw in terms of ladder positions from last year?
thank you Nico. Confirms what I thought.R1 St Kilda (H) 6th
R2 Adelaide (A) 10th
R3 Hawthorn (A) 16th
R4 WB (A) 9th
R5 #LOLNorf (H) 18th
I haven’t watched the match but north have had 30 more possessions than Geelong and are 11 goals behind.Cant’s toying with the Roos down there. Don’t know how they do it with their tough draw.
Larkey just did the same thing.Reminds me of when ben brown got the most inside 50 frees, the way he flies like Curnow and just flops his arms everywhere like he has been manhandled and umps fall for it week in, week out.
Nyuon stats look good 14K 5HB 7M 2TA
All I know in the first 5 we had one team outside of last year's 8. They have 4.is anyone here smart enough to look at Geelongs draw in terms of ladder positions from last year?
They should be 2-3
Ok good individual effort?Missed the 139 points against his team
That sounds like a very short step to the T20 version of football.
Do you think they would have got 63,000 on Sat. afternoon? Their largest ever crowd (by 20000) is the 62000 for the Friday night final in 2022.
its a below ave Vic fan base v a Qld franchise club.
Agree. Quite possibly the physically hardest sport (ie the near non stop running and physical contact) and goes for 4 30 minute quarters. If we were starting Aussie rules today what would the structure be? 4 20 minute quarters? 2 30 minute halves? 4 15 minute quarters?most popular team sports worldwide have a running time of approx 2 hours. Do you know why cricket brought in 20/20? Because people (especially younger people) don't have the attention span to sit through 6 hours.
If you recall, about 5 years ago, the AFL talked about cutting the half time break as TV ratings were dropping in the second half of games. Personally, i do believe footy games do drag on a bit long.
I'd go to 16 on the field for a start. Reckon it would be 4 20 min quarters if they reformatted it.Agree.
