Nothing surer than us trading picks. Most likely into next year.
We'll only take the minimum picks this year you'd think.

I thought Miller is contracted to 2020. I haven't seen him play live but he is supposed to be a long term prospect so I reckon he will at least se his contract out
No, just played like someone that might be injured (e.g. GF Phil Davis)Didn't Miller spend a fair bit of this year injured?
I think I read/heard somewhere that the club is very happy with his progress and look forwrard to seeing him next year???
The re - contracted (Chol,Baker,Stack& Pickett) rookies can stay on the rookie list according to Balmey

Great thinking. We should be on the phone.FREEEEMANTLE. Let's deal.
You have pick 22.
And an academy kid Liam Henry earmarked at 15-20, which would require pick 22.
How's about we trade pick 38, pick 56 and next year's 2nd round (say pick 36 )
for Freo's pick 22 and 2020 3rd rounder (say 44 - or maybe its 4th rounder so 62)
We end up with 19, 22, 39, 41... plus 2020x3rd/4th
Freo get 7, 10, 38, 56, 58... plus 2020x2rd
Overall we win by getting pick 22
Freo win by getting Henry with 38+56+58 plus get a 2nd rounder next year
We include pick 56 so they have enough points to get Henry... then we get it back next year.
We spend 2x 2nd rounders (38 and ?36?) to get pick 22
*next year picks may be pushed back due to academy picks, but it affects both clubs so I've ignored it

Suns dont need points. They now get to pick up whoever they want whenever they want. (That may only apply to academy players at this stage. )Wonder if we could deal with the Subs for pick 15 and 20 and give them 19 and our next 3 picks ? May suit there point system
I would be trying to avoid trading out next year's picks. Give them 40, 42 and 58 this year. And go to the draft with 19, 22 and 39. If giving those picks is to much in their favour try to swap picks next year, e.g. our 2nd for their 2nd, or 3rd for 3rd.FREEEEMANTLE. Let's deal.

Yes I agree, we have so many picks, it is likely we will offload a serials of them for an update in pick.Yeah I think Freo or GWS will be the ones we are looking at.
Freos needs to be a net gain for them this year otherwise why do it.
GWS just don't have the picks this year so we may be able to extract higher value from them, they are pretty fair traders too so personally think we'd get a better deal with them but obviously on the proviso that they move up the draft order.
Brodders we do it so that Freo get an advantage and want to make the deal.I would be trying to avoid trading out next year's picks. Give them 40, 42 and 58 this year. Freo win by getting a 2020 pick, and using lower value picks on their academy kid.Freos needs to be a net gain for them this year otherwise why do it.

Could be a stretch but it would be a nice touch to have Patrick Naish wear his Dad’s number 6. Maybe Marlion would have claim to Grigga’s number also!Numbers available 5, 6, 7, 16, 20, 24, 30.
