Minimum wage for a rookie in 2018 was $75,000. It was $71,500 in 2017 and $57,940 in 2016.
They'd be getting match payments, roughly $5000 a game I think as well as their base salary. Rookie on $75 / $80 K base plus maybe another $30 to $50 K match payments is on reasonable coin for hovering around the fringes.

According to the players bargaining agreement every senior game played earns them $4k plus a bonus up to $12,000 per year depending on how many games played in the season, so yeah if you play a handful of games, the wage is over $100k. Not bad.

The base wage increases to $80k in 2020.

i thought rookies only got 1 year contracts.
I also thought if you got a 2 year you are upgraded to the primary list.

Not that I’m aware of mate but I wish all this stuff was a bit more transparent you know?
