Yeah, let’s blame some guy on $150 a game for not reminding professional footballers on $500 and $800k per year who have been told repeatedly to not use their phones in game.
Spot on. You don't even have to be in the system to know that this is wrong. Given the Pies long history with gambling on the sport, I hope the AFL punishes them heavily.

I have never been on twitter, facebook and Instagram, it just goes to show how addicted players (and a lot of people in general) are to their phones and social media.
Wasn't it Howe who was celebrated for being a leader and convincing Jaidyn Stephenson to admit his betting on games?
While I can understand players wanting to let their loved ones know they are o.k. as soon as possible after an injury incident. There are strict rules n procedures in place regarding the use of mobiles, there's a bunch of club officials could have made the necessary calls from a permitted phone instead of allowing the numb nut players access to their own phones. AFL honchos need to provide Colonwood with a short sharp kick to the proverbials for allowing players access to their own phones during the game, the rest of us can just enjoy the Lol's from Colonwood stuffing up again.
