He’s now that guy that gets to tell everyone that he use to be Dusty’s house mate in the early days.

He was a very footballer who never became the player he could have been. In one year maybe 2010 or 2011, he averaged well over 20 disposals a game and played some terrific footy off halfback.
That was about it unfortunately but he could play for sure.

Some kids have too much natural talent and it comes too easy for them when they are young and never learn or appreciate the hard work that’s required to compete at the top level. A pity as he had talent to burn.

I guess the new challenge for Sydney is to succeed without the low pressure and gentle expectations of his first year. He’s yet to show he can handle serious pressure in his downtime.
The good news is everyone is willing him to succeed, and he’s at the leading sporting club in Australia for his area of weakness.
The challenge for Syd is just to become a good person with values , footy comes second in this instance .
Then let’s hope he does and that the club supports him in that process.
What is he , 20 years old? That’s not to say a 20 year old can’t be a good person but for sure they can become one with the right role models and support.
