Training

Great effort Old Tiger.
Who plays next week?

Good question moments. Based on today I'd say Houli comes in for Stack.
That said, Syd showed some awesome form this morning. Only a question of fitness.Talent alone might not be enough but geez he's got some talent..was burning early.
It may be as simple as Nank makes way for Houli's inclusion. Ross wold be the only other option I'd think.

Forgot about the shorter quarters re playing the two rucks against them because they have two in Brodie and Lurch.

Will Dimma roll the dice and go for another midfielder?

I don’t buy into this one ruck theory. Our biggest weapon last time we played them was the Nank/Soldo combo which really nullified Grundys influence.

It was the Choldo combo I ithink that game Nank was still on the comeback, but they did work him over that night.

Thanks to all those that were at the hitout and reported on the game. Right now iIt's the only way us overseaers and out of towners can get a feel how the guy's are progressing

Leppa said they are training Sunday but i imagine it will be staggered in their Covid groups of 8 with never more than 16 on ground at the one time.
Tuesday about 9:30 am i'd suggest would be the best session to catch before Thursday's match.
Thank you

Chl 7 just had footage of Dusty talking to the Doc at qtr time today indicating the rib cage area, that is when they went inside briefly, he then came back out to play in the 2nd before pulling himself of the 3rd and last qtr to run some laps. Didn't look too much to worry about but as I said was not right today.

Not the ribs, just the guts.
Had bad pasta the night before.
Zip on the scene. For ZipNews

Its going to be a tactical season.

but I don't think it will be tactical in October.

just the fastest, toughest, hardest, deepest, most experienced side who has Dusty, wins.

Fairly sure Nankervis didn’t play last time.

He didn't.
Buckley constantly thinks playing tall non mobile big men is our achilles heal.
He is right.
Our biggest losses over the last 3 years have been when Dud talls have dominated us like Jenkins, Cox, Dixon and Liptak.

I don't care what he does as long as we beat them.
They have been walking around the last 10 weeks like they have won 3 flags in a row.
A good slapping could be enough to off set their season.
We don't want to loose to them because the next 15 weeks will be unbearable.

Yeah you are right Craig. But my point still remains. They way in beating Grundy is to working him over with two rucks.

Not looking good for Thursday night.
Mainly dry
30% of rain. 0.4mm
6' overnight
8k winds.

Where's the Rain??? FFS???

Im nervous
I hate the Knobs
Tell you what, they were bloody good in round 1. While everyone else is pointing at GWS, I reckon the Pies are the real threat. It might only be round 2, but this is an 8-point game. I'm not on the same page as people who reckon this is a game we can afford to drop. If the Pies finish in the top 4, look out. If we can beat them in round 2, that's a big step towards them slipping out of the top 4. I don't reckon many teams can beat them. But we can. And we must get the job done.

Big threat. Its harder beating them in round 2 then in September.
The only problem with them is they can beat any team, but IF they make a GF your a 80% chance of winning because they're so good at finding ways of losing.
