his style of play has a used by date... he no doubt needs the work/life balance and the last 3 weeks would not have been good for his head space. Expect him to be his most influential post the bye (assuming we can resume the fixture as per normal). 2022? maybe - respect whatever call he makes - he is our triple premiership captain

Love him.
It's his choice.
If he goes again, great, if not than wow. What a career.
Picked us up off the canvas.

He has earned the right to go out on his trems.
Living legend of our football club ! Sick of the supports at the ground who where bagging him, he had 21 other team mates who where also *smile* house tonight !

To paraphase Leigh Matthews, if Cotch is done, which looks the case, he will have to settle with only being the greatest, most successful captain the club has ever seen and probably the best we will ever see.

The best captain we will ever see but it’s time. Don’t want him to tarnish his legacy, go out on top.

He goes out on his terms, we owe him that, but drop off is significant.
Drop off is a cliff. He can’t run at all, his kicking is terrible and he turns it over far too often. Agree has earned the right to go out on his terms but if he gets offered or takes a 1 yr contract we as a club is stuffed

He looks exhausted.
his mind is sound but his body can't do what he wants it to do anymore.
Greatest captain ive seen at the club alongside Matty knights.
When the day he does call it quits it truly will be a sad sad day.

He’s become just a battering ram now. His disposal no longer hurts opposition or puts teammates in the clear.

Inside mids have been hurt by the new rules. Cotch has been as affected as any.
Couple that with repeated soft tissue injuries (& possibly a lack of hunger?) & what you see is the result.
He's the barometer of our team & it's not happening.
A great champion & a great captain but as I've said all year it's close.
