Welcome Bigoa Nyuon

Great shot of Biggie, his time in the gym is paying dividends.
Don’t get too carried away with his visual improvements.
Size does matter but really only core strength and functional muscle strength is valued for AFL football.
A lot of the Sudanese boys can put on size fairly quickly but don’t necessarily have core strength. Look no further than Cotchin who cannot be pushed off the ball as opposed to Cholly who still gets pushed around too easily.
Let’s hope he’s putting plenty of extra work into that area. Defenders need to be able to hold their ground

While muscly he is still pretty lean. Can anyone comment on his strength in one-on-ones and around the ball?

Yep, a fine line, not too much, want him to keep his agility.

Morris-

Bigoa Nyuon (14 disposals, nine marks, seven rebound-50s)

"He once again had a really solid game. His aerial work was a standout and he took nine marks, including a number of intercept possessions. He's getting involved in our offence, he just needs to tidy up a couple of errors."

His ability to read the fall of the ball is elite. Prepared to leave his man and time the interception whether by fist or mark is what you want in a defender. He turns it over not because he can’t kick but he goes for that killer pass. I wouldn’t be forcing that out of him. But with experience he will time those better.

If it was up to me I would put a 3 year deal in front of him now. Because if come the end of the year and he is still uncontracted then I am afraid someone else will snap him up.
During the preseason one of the coaches (can't recall who it was) said he was being asked to take the difficult passes. They see his kicking as a real strength and want him to develop as an offensive weapon coming out of the back.

For what it's worth I saw Miller at the airport yesterday flying out....presume he is on his way to Perth a few days early
He's a West Aust n with no magoos game this week it's probably the perfect opportunity to sneak home n see the family for a few days.

Pretty funny calltohis family on the club website, his sister didn't know who was calling, she hasn't saved his number.
Think his mum dropped a few expletives when he hold them.

If he's had a video then he is playing and wont be sub.

Disappointed that Stack didn't keep his spot, they couldve set Soldo back to the VFL with the Hawks lack of rucks.

No need for Martyn or Aarts as sub prospects either they are likely the next 2 following Caddy out the door at years end.

Will Sheds get the vest or demoted.

I wouldve played Syd this week to be honest he would enjoy playing the Hawks I reckon.
