Welcome to Richmond Seth Campbell

This lad. Quiet early, stuffed up a bit. But running til the final siren. That shoelace pick-up at full tilt. Does not fumble.
He fumbled that mark, I think that was his first real clanger! But agree 100%

Still learning the caper. Some hits, some misses. But he’s prepared to work and work again. That creates opportunities.
Shows some good skills and his self belief is building. Plenty to like and plenty to build on.
Becoming an import cog in the team makeup.
He is not "becoming" an important cog, he "IS" an important cog. Will play 200 games. Has class and "footy smarts".

43 supercoach points. Was expecting at least double that as his influence on the game was very important IMO. Obviously sc points doesn't do justice, very excited about his future. Hope he stays here long term.

Star in the making. For now allowed to do as he pleases with the ball. A wise investment.

Can someone find the kid a local girlfriend who is very close to her family and couldn't possibly move down to Tassie in a few years

We're not going to lose him to Tassie. As Leysy says, Hobart is as far from home for him as Punt Rd is. And with our culture giving him a place to belong and feel supported and loved after his rough start in life, Punt Rd will be home for him. 200-game Tiger.

Did fumble. Nothing went right for him in the first half.
Rallied and ended up having an influential 2nd half.
That’s resilience. That’s work rate. That’s belief.
We learnt a bit about this kid yesterday.
He’s no fly by nighter. He’s the real deal.

Seth is an extremely good young player - pure class. It won’t be long before he’s taking games apart. Even yesterday he could have kicked a couple of goals to stamp his endeavour.

As far as Tassie goes and having grown up there (left at 14), it’s hard to go back after you’ve been on the ‘mainland’, especially Melbourne. I’d say Seth will be so ensconced with Richmond & Melbourne life in general over the next few years (not to mention a $$ pay packet), he won’t want to leave.

As a by the by, attracting players and then retaining them will be Tasmania’s biggest challenge. Even GWS offers a big city lifestyle and opportunity.

Shai gave him an absolute gobfull after that great pick up. Shai was hurtling beside him wanting the hands, Seth was focused forward, didn’t see him or ignored him and kicked.
Thing was Seth was going as fast as Shai.
Probably should have given it because it was Shai but didn’t really matter. Showed Bolton was heavily invested in the outcome and wanted to get it done himself, all good signs
