Pick 63, 2017 Ben Miller - Welcome to Tigerland.

What’s the point of having him on the list ?

I’ve never really thought he’s shown anything too special (very slooow) but regardless, with the injuries we have and his role, and recent form and length of time on our list, what’s the point then of keeping him if he can’t get a game right now ?

He really is a Mr Nobody on our list. Either attempt to make him a somebody, or de list him Richmond.
Really annoyed at this. He needs to play now so he understand the increase in intensity. He might thrive....or dive. The point is, we know what we have if he plays now when our backline is thin. Until he plays we do not actually know if he can play at the level. This is the second week in a row that the MC needs to be questioned in a big way. Samson was a bust. Astbury is not going to do anything we do not know - give him another week off....because he has a "grumbly" achilles. We are playing a B grade team. Prefect for a debut. The MC are producing results that indicate they are desperate. Not happy Jan.

At least he was in the conversation, poor old Garthwaite has been forgotten about altogether.

I think we can safely assume there’s two list spots available at years end.
Yes, you'd have to think so. With Grimes and Astbury both 30 a couple of key position defenders should be a priority in this years draft.

As stiff as Johnny Holmes at his peak to not get a game this week. Shocking non selection

Agree. from what I have seen of DTLD this year he is cooked and would be staggered if he gets an offer for 2022. If it was not GC this would be a danger game even against NORF

Ben must have been relieved he didn't debut in the non performance today. It is obvious to all except probably the MC that our defence needs a mobile big man now Balta is on extended leave and Ben needs a chance. He could make or may not but lets see him have a go!

i reckon he will get plenty of games post astbury retirement this year

Got an average review from Morris after the Bullants game.

Ben Miller (16 disposals, seven marks)

"Ben was very good one-on-one on the weekend. He probably
let himself down in a couple of contests but overall he's developing really nicely and his skills by foot certainly stand out."

Clearly he hasn't got incriminating photos like Jason.

I wonder if they're delaying his debut until we have a more settled line-up. Maybe they think too many new players at the same time is just too unsettling to the team, particularly for a debutante who'll play on a tall forward. The noise a few weeks back suggests they like him.
