Sydney Stack

Syd is great by hand and foot, and has the best skill set to replace Shedda. They both have great vision, and the ability to hit someone with a deft little kick. They also have exquisite timing with their handballing, which allows them to put a teammate into a gap.
You're the perfect replacement Syd, over to you.
Thank you very much, I'l do my best!

It's no coincidence we've kicked 100 points plus last three weeks. 4 genuine goal threats in lynch Jack Shai and Cumberland. Heat from MJR. Shed actually complemented them well on Sunday. But the icing on the cake is Stacky down there
as number 6. He can score he can assist he can crunch and most importantly he will make the other 5 better and more dangerous. Imagine picking up Sydney as putative forward number 6?

It is also no coincidence that we have kicked 100 points in 7 out of Jason Castagna's last 9 games. He is the sprinkles to Stackys icing.

He was pretty good last week. We outscored Hawks by 13 goals when he was out of the game. They outscored us by 2 goals when he came on.

No surprise.
May sneak in as sub but not sure of the point.
He’s better of playing a full game in the VFL as they need a big win to help qualify for their slim chance of making finals.
Very disappointing but couldn’t see them bringing him in for one game.

The point of him playing as the sub is picking the best team. The other point is it rewards Syd. The third point is that it gives him some AFL footy, which is better for him than VFL. That leads into the fourth point, which is that we might need him at some point, so it would be good if he's had a run. And the fifth point is he might show enough to stake a claim for being in the 22.

I expect someone will be struck down with awareness at halftime and Sydney will get 30-40 minutes.

Hope he gets a look in. If he isn’t in the MC calculations for the first final than its best he gets a full game in the VFL.

Or there’s no injury and he gets splinters in his arse

Sounds reasonable, turk.
Not for Stacky. If he makes the side inside the 22, he will know that his ambition to share a premiership with his mates, is no longer a pipe dream.
He will know that all the …. he was put through by the AFL’s and Clubs decision to suspend him for 10 weeks, plus COVID and then his incarceration in WA, and the effort put in since his return, has given him this slimmest of a chance.

Expect that if he gets in he will make Essendon people cry.

Really hope Stackman plays.
Would be a huge boost for him and the team if he was to put in a solid performance with finals on the doorstep. First, gotta get selected of course

Unless there's been off field issues, Syd deserves a game for his on field VFL performances.

Syd's inclusion would make us better.
