Marlion played better last year. The sooner we can take the (c) away from Grimesy the better, our champ is being crushed by a lower case letter. Hugo does good things and then likes to trump them with worse things. I fear for Dion, the end is coming. Poor old Jack is playing in a forward line with delivery reminiscent of late 80's, early 90's garbage. *smile* flat I've gotta tell ya

Why do we have a game plan of long bombing it in yet draft half bank flankers all the time ?

We n

Normally praise him for those type flick-on's, but that one probably cost us the points in all honesty, hold that ball in the forward line and they have no way of getting down to their end for that last score.

Oh well, that's how the game goes unfortunately, you win some, you lose some, but overall, the contrast between last week and tonight was incredulous and needs addressing for sure, that was simply NOT good enough what was on display tonight.
Combo & Baur could very well have been a percentage boost instead of a very poor loss

The 0-12 has to be age. Legs.

Its gotta be.
Fatigue leading to bad decision making also.

Hence we give up goals at the end of quarters every week.

No need to play Gibcus this season send him to Germany for beers and bee venom injections .

Kid is going to be critical going forward no point ruining him for a lost cause this year.

Just a horrible loss. Mansell miss was horrible. We have no movement at all from our key forwards. Season over.

Where's Brown pick 17?
Where's Sonie pick 26?
Where's Banks pick 27?
Where's Bauer?

It's our recruiting that has let us down again.
Soooo many misses causing massive holes in our side.
Why draft a skinny foward when we are struggling to kick a score?
Collingwood get Milocheck we get Bauer.

What is wrong with this side and close games - this is the third year now we throw away games we should win so it’s our DNA.

I can only think that we have grown mentally fat on our 3 flags.
We are 0-12 in 1 game margin games. I reckon the pies are 12-0 in that same period.

Dons like a bad smell just would not go away. May be time coach go away. Pickett has never been a forward pocket nor Prestia centre half forward. Got me beat why Sonsie not getting a run. Basically some poor foot skills killed us.

Who cares. It was good enough to beat us tonight and we had zero answer for it.
You're the one gushing over their game plan. They won, not because of their gameplan, but because of our diabolical disposal and decision-making in the last. Neither team are making the 8 so yeah who cares.

Dumbest moment of the season hands down goes to Jack Riewoldt soccering the ball off the ground straight to their spare man all on his own with a minute left. Well *smile* done Jack, instead of using your years of footy experience and just picking the ball up and creating a stoppage, you *smile* the game for us. As soon as he did that I knew we were gone. Others made mistakes, mansell should’ve at least scored a point, but for our oldest head to make such a horrible decision, I am absolutely fuming

While it was really messy and disorganised, I’m not blaming the coach. We missed many many many opportunities to dominate and were mostly diabolical all night by hand and foot and stupid beyond belief in decision making. We really sucked ass.

Did Hardwick have any idea how to counter their stop, short kick, uncontested mark game plan ? They utterly sliced and diced their way around the ground all night.

Essendon. Essendon sliced their way through us. FMD.
Yep. But we invite this with our kick out structure. We concede two kicks to at least 50 then try to rebound it back. We have been worked out plus we don't have the cattle any more to play that game.

Tonight's Scattergun.

Still playing non forwards on the forward line...is that 8 losses and a draw from the last nine decided by under a goal? Why?

When the whips are cracking there is no composure. Tonight Danny played a serviceable game on the backline, but we continue to flounder where he used to shine. Marlion needs space. Not a forward. Nigel improving.

Tonight our small backline was stretched by Weideman and the other tall, Kyle Somebody. But we were outmarked and that is always on the cards.
I thought Balta and Vlaustin were good.

Nank tried hard but was underdone. Ryan will be inconsistent for the first few years.

Dusty and Shai have the same issue. Creative when they have it and flashy but need to do the ordinary things better.

Loved Balta's game. Settling in nicely.

Bakes and Dion played like they had the flu.

A bad bounce at the end stopped a certain goal for us, but that happens.

Overall, another very annoying game.

The fwd line was a train wreck.
We excelled last week because we lowered the eyes.
It was so predictable and pedestrian all night.
*smile* and lost us the game.

Bauer would probably be a star at Collingfilth right now.

He should be playing NOW in our side.
