Changes verses the Swannies - Easter Round

Pickett is 100% he needs to be in court this week. No more adjournments
Pickett is 100% what?
Just looking at an article in WA Today dated March 1. The case against him as outlined in that article, looks pretty weak. He appears tomorrow in Perth when the WA Police are expected to produce charges or drop them altogether.
Hope to see a BOG performance on Sunday from a man free of care.

I heard it's video-linked so he'll be in Melbourne still available to play.

Interesting. As reported the magistrate seemed determined to push the Police into a decision on whether he is to face charges.
If he is to face charges and be called to plead you would expect him to be there in person to prepare etc. If charges are to be dropped the Police would probably be quite happy to have him out of town.

Brown was okay. He's someone we need to get games into. We have old premiership players and kids with not many games. We need to play them
Brown did well. Had most intercepts for the Tigers. Plenty to work with. Even played some wing and thought he handled it better than Banks.

we need much much more run to match the swans.

After watching some of the VFL, thought Ralphsmith was pretty good. We could do with his run.

Amazing that despite bringing in many younger players over the last 2 rounds we were still the 4th oldest side over the weekend.

Same old story with him turns the ball over and poor skills.

If Ralphsmith we will get plenty of run.....but most of that will be running after balls that get delivered over blokes heads.

Yep unfortunately is a bust. His last 3 games last year he was subbed off and managed 9 effective disposals and 7 turnovers. And backmen have higher disposal efficiency. Is too one-dimensional and lack of skill to make up for it. And can't tackle. Other than 1 game last year when he had 4 tackles (how efficient were they?) he had just 2 tackles across 12 games. Totally unacceptable. No point wasting more time on him after 32 games of opportunity.

It was interesting watching the Swans v Coll.
You could see the Pies hesitate, when they saw the line of Swans defenders, sometimes five across half back.
The Swans added an extra loose defender.
Longmire has been doing that for years. Remember Dimma had to apologise after a presser when he complained Bout how the Swans clog their backline making it almost impossible to score on their postage stamp ground ? He had to apologise because those were the days when we were playing 8 defenders lol

All he can do is run fast. He should give up football and go into sprinting.
