And in return has gifted Geelong supporters with an appalling win-loss finals record

That's how he always answers questions. He's not a great media performer. The saltiness gets in the way.

Probably kn ows Kelly is gone.
Selwood probably gonna retire as skipper.
Now realises Dangerfield is a good ordinary player.

On the other hand my respect for Joel Selwood went up with his interview. May whinge and duck on the field but was very respectful after the game. Should ask for a trade to Brisbane to take over Hodge's role.

Watching his presser now and I reckon most here are being hard on him because generally he's been such a wanker. He gave us full credit, there was some underlying saltiness but it was directed at journalists who he clearly doesn't respect much, like other coaches. It adds weight to the idea that he might be so salty during the year to take public pressure off his players.

I've watched the first 15 seconds of his presser. What a flog. His teams will never win anything - he was lucky he was gifted a flag inheriting one of the best AFL lists in 2011.
