Lynch !!

I know we're still trying to make the finals but the way we are playing I can't see it happening. The Brisbane game was a clear outlier in our form since the bye. We've been putrid in every other game.

That said if Lynch is playing injured, or at least hampered, I wouldn't mind wrapping him up for the year to give him a really good head start for 2022. We're paying him way too much for the level of output he is providing at the moment. It's hard to watch him struggle so badly.

Agree Rids, there’ll be no finals for us, I know some are still expecting us to flick some switch and win 4 on the trot but it ain’t gunna happen.

This, we can't pay Lynch $1m+ over the next 4 years with this output - get him right for next year

3 weeks ago in his first game back vs the Suns he looked great but he's seemingly struggling again which is a concern.
I thought he was one of our best against Collingwood and played an excellent foil role for Jack against Brisbane. We gave neither of them a hope against Geelong.

I dont expect it, but if we win 4- against the Dockers, the roos and the hawks and the Giants we are in. if we win 3 we still have a good chance.
part of me hopes we lose so guys like Lynch can get 100%, but I know we want give up until we cant possibly make it.

We should be happy winning 2.
Not winning 4

Our forward line entry is atrocious, but still he needs to kick his bread and butter.

Gone back to playing from behind (which he didn't do for a couple of weeks on return from injury) and not moving enough to be a dangerous option. Get in front a do some of those *smile* weak easy Hawkins leads where the cats player kicks it 10mtrs. At least he will get a mark and shot on goal.

Don't think he is a smart footballer either. I know we have to hate Hawkins but at last Hawkins uses his size to advantage. Lynch hasn't bothered to learn to,ruck in forward 25. Him and Jack in the same pack 50 m out.... who thinks that is going to be effective.

Our game style has changed in the last 5 weeks. Inconsistent definitely. I think we are building nicely with the changes. We are competing well and providing effort. Skills and cohesion are letting us down. Still a chance and if you live in sport you never give up.

Dimma seems to be doing a Terry Wallace, keeps changing the game plan

He's not playing like an $800,000 key forward this year. Hoping there is some injury concern which is hampering him and its not just a huge drop off in form.

Perhaps a longer off season will do him some good because right now he's just not effective.

He's not playing like a 300k forward. I just knew he was gonna miss that sitter from dead in front. His goal kicking is woeful. Can't run can't jump. Massive concern.

he reminds me of the guy in that film The Club who stares at seagulls during a game after smoking pot
