Any kid who can play gets offered a scholarship.

Apologies, tim - I see now you were referring to Free.

Jay Kennedy Harris & His sister were given scholarship's to Melbourne Grammar & Melbourne Girls Grammar thanks to JKH playing footy

$38,000 a year each student - Not Bad

It's the new Jack?

At least none of them are called *smile*ing Jayden (although there is a Kaden)!

:hihi Kaden Schreiber used to play at the junior club I'm involved at. He's a very good player and hard as a cat's head. I'm not surprised he's on the Oakleigh list but would be surprised if he got drafted. He finds the footy but from what I recall his disposal would need improvement. But they can improve a lot in the TAC system I suppose. Good luck to him.

Also I'd like to know how kids from South Belgrave and Strathmore end up on Oakleigh's list. It's not where you go to school but where you live. Unless the kid from Strathmore boards at Scotch like Maurice Jnr.

That's just the clubs theyd play for if they werent getting a game at Chargers or school.

The strathmore kid is Chris Johnson's son, very good little player

Trinity Grammar. And there was an indigenous element to that scholarship I believe.

Good to see a couple of boys from my old high school on that list.

Btw why is APS called Associated PUBLIC schools? Wesley etc are all private schools aren't they?

My 2yo son is Lachlan. It may be popular in oz but not common elsewhere. And completely unknown in france. Poor frenchies have never seen it before and get all tongue tied and lost

A question for those experienced with TAC footy, at 16.5 years' of age should MRJ be expecting to play games with the Charges this year or is he only there for development? He is not named in the Okleigh Charges opening game on Sunday.

I am assuming there is only the one boys team and not another under aged team that he could be eligible for?

He'll 100% get games throughout the season, this year is more about acclimating him and getting him settled in Vic

It's a fine name.

My 13 year old nephew is named Lachlan only thing wrong couldn't get him to join the Tiger Army
