Maurice JNR

Won’t happen , clubs have wised up to investing high draft picks in small forwards that aren’t ball magnets

Not true Melbourne took one in the 2019 draft pick 12, k Pickett.

If anything they are more highly valued than ever, expect an early bid, he is after all a Rioli

Essendon will bid with their first round.
In the last 2 years they bid on a hawks (Mosquito) and brisbane academy player.
The bummers history of Riolis and also will take Dan's brother

MRJ will be bid on in the first round for sure

Those bids from the mad Doritos were not 1st Rd. No one is bidding 1st Rd For MRJ. 1st rounders are marketing commodities for each club and no one wants the world to know their choice was 2nd best

If you cant market a Rioli joining a forward line with Mcdonald Tipungwuti then you have problems

Junior should be playing NTFL Grand Final 7:15pm this Saturday. Punch NTFL into your browser Saturday night and you should be able to view live?

Either of the players you mentioned were NOT bid in r1 , Rioli standard is prob similar to mosquito that doesn’t warrant a <20 investment.

maybe B1J7, time will tell.
grand final saturday, then a season in vic u18.
The difficulty is that there is only a limited number of riolis. If he is the one they want, the 'last piece of the puzzle' then they are more likely to go early

*yes essendon did bid in later rounds. But for less known players. Their academy is in the top end/torres strait so they will have a close eye

I am hoping he tears it up this season, and furnishes into a midfield star

If he tears it up yes he will attract attention , to date he has been a low possies player , most recent outing he made every one count

NNNNOOOOOOOO, leave him up there, start a rumour about him being on the turps & the turtle & get him for nix !

on the turtle made me LOL

I great euphemism

Ive always used 'been in a good paddock' but I'm gonna switch to

been on the turtle.

I actually cant wait to pull the trolley up behind a big engine room at the supermarket and whisper to mrs.EZ,

'Jeez, she's been on the turtle'

and take the puzzled hit

Jeez, you can do better than that Taz.

Would you be happy to make that comment in front of our indigenous players?

Pretty poor effort.

Apologies if you took any offence.

I have lived in the NT & Pilbara for 24 of my adult years and employed probably 50 or 60 indigenous apprentices & tradespeople.

Would I be comfortable saying it them , yes, our indigenous players, if I knew them , yes

Its called a sense of humour
